Knowing homelessness is a problem in Baltimore, Nehemiah House, Inc., has been providing, since January 23, 1991, the first all year round shelter and rehabilitation program for men in this community. We continue to provide and maintain a quality program characterized by flexibility and a high degree of professionalism. Our program is designed with a multi-phase concept. (see about page)

The purpose of the Nehemiah House is two-fold. First, to provide temporary but necessary shelter, food, clothing and physical care for homeless men. Second, to provide a program which will help men eliminate their homeless situation by making them responsible to themselves and their families while becoming useful members of the community and society.
