About Us

The Nehemiah Reentry Program is a Christian faith-based and work-oriented program for those who are vetted prior to release and qualify at time of release. Those who are sex offenders, have a history/record of violent crime, and mental health issues will not qualify for this program.

Men in this program are required during day hours from 7 am until 6 pm to be off property at various job sites.

We have a successful model as we partner with Lee Robbins, Founder of Vital Signs (vitalsignsministry.org), and Tackle The Shackles (tackletheshackles.org).  Lee has implemented the Vital Signs program in Georgia which is now spanning over several prisons that are using his Navigator Program and Leadership Training.  Lee was incarcerated himself and spent two years in prison.  During this time, he changed his view and saw his incarceration as an opportunity. He interviewed incarcerated men and determined the most critical needs they have prior to release and upon reentry.  From this, his programs were birthed and are now being used as a model.

This program will offer temporary housing, meals, job training, employment opportunities, along with a host of programs and services to help men succeed as they reunify with their families, restore relationships, and avoid becoming a recidivism statistic.
